Reports from Germany on Sunday insist that Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will return to AC Milan.

The Gabon international, who has been linked with Milan and Liverpool this summer, has publicly shown his affection for the Serie A club on social media.

According to Sky Deutschland, the 28-year-old left training this morning after just 30 minutes due to a cold which has once again sparked rumours of an imminent departure.

The player did recently state his desire to stay at the Signal Iduna Park this season, and featured in last night’s DFB Cup match against Rielasingen, scoring a hat-trick.

Now it’s being reported that a deal could be struck between the Aubameyang and the Rossoneri after August 15.

AC Milan have been busy this summer already, signing key players such as Andre Silva, Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez.

They also poached star defender Leonardo Bonucci from Serie A rivals Juventus, a signing that they will hope catapults them into the title race.
