Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli has revealed his desire that he would one day like to return to Manchester City for a second stint.
The Argentinian joined the Citizens in 2014 but was immediately shipped out on loan to the La Liga club, who then completed a permanent deal for the 24-year-old last month.
Manchester City could be on the hunt for a new No.1 goalkeeper this summer with Joe Hart expected to move on and Claudio Bravo struggling to convince after being dropped by Pep Guardiola in recent weeks.
And Rulli believes a return to Manchester City would help him progress in his career.
Speaking to Gol Television, he said: “La Real (Real Sociedad) bought me from Manchester [City] and the opportunity to go [there] was very close.
“I think that are few players that would tell you that they do not want to play for one of the biggest teams in the world.
“It’s my dream and I obviously work to achieve it.
“What I am going to tell you too is that I am not desperate to go, because we are doing things very well here at La Real and we can aspire to much bigger things.”
