Gowling back for Brentford clash

Gowling has served a two-match suspension and is set to slot back into the starting line-up against the Bees.

On-loan West Ham youngster Matt Fry serves a one-match ban for collecting five yellow cards this season, so manager Mark Stimson is likely to move John Nutter from the wing into the back four.

Febian Brandy’s thigh strain has cleared up and he will be fine to continue in attack, but veteran goalkeeper Simon Royce remains sidelined after a car crash so Alan Julian will continue between the sticks.

Danny Jackman, Simon King and Garry Richards remain on the treatment table.
