Joe Hart: Left out by Pep Guardiola

Out-of-favour Joe Hart is said to be furious at how he has been treated by Pep Guardiola and Manchester City, according to reports.

Guardiola has dropped Hart for the opening three matches of the season, preferring Willy Caballero in goal, due to concerns over the England international’s ability with the ball at his feet.

City are now set to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo in a £17million move, which would see Hart be demoted further to third-choice stopper.

According to the Daily Mail, Hart believes Guardiola decided he was going to replace him before the end of last season, but did not inform the player.

The 29-year-old feels that he has now been left without sufficient time to secure a move elsewhere and now has a distinct lack of options after Everton pulled out of a £7million loan deal.

Well, I am sure he is unhappy but these reports really are playing the guessing game.It really depends on Peps views and if he can improve his game. Joe is NOT a bad goalkeeper but does need to improve. He is young enough, apart from Gunn, younger than what we have or planning to get.I cannot help thinking that it will turn out to be a mistake to let him go but you have to give the guy something to fight for. Look around the PL, where would you put Joe in the rating, he would not be far off the top….so….we have a top keeper we are letting go and we have a “capable” keeper in cabaliro and an unknown quantity for the PL although I am sure we are not buying a “dud” It is a difficult one, but whatever all of us think, Pep will decide I hope the club treat him properly…he deserves that and I am sure most fans would want it, even one like me who have been critical of Joe over the last season. Get it resolved City
