Haslam takes on Sheffield Wednesday academy role

Sheffield Wednesday have appointed coach Steven Haslam as the club’s new academy manager.

Haslam, who made 171 appearances as a player for the Owls, will take up his new role with immediate effect, the club confirmed on their official website.

The 37-year-old, who also played for Halifax, Northampton, Bury and Hartlepool, replaces Dean Ramsdale following his departure last month to join Manchester City’s academy.
