Kevin De Bruyne: Hoping to score in his fourth consecutive game

Eden Hazard has admitted to being impressed with how Kevin De Bruyne has settled in at Manchester City – but hopes he doesn’t do too well.

Belgian midfielder De Bruyne joined Manchester City for a club record £55million from Wolfsburg over the summer, but has quickly settled into his new surroundings after scoring four goals in his last five games for the club.

City went into the international break top of the Premier League table on the back of their thumping 6-1 win over Newcastle and Chelsea midfielder Hazard says he’s not shocked to see De Bruyne shine at the Etihad.

He said: “I’ve long known Kevin to be one of the best players in Europe.

“He has settled in well at City, and has already boosted their attack.

“I hope he does well, but not too well! Thankfully for us, City have already dropped quite a few points despite Kevin’s arrival.”
