Robbie Neilson’s side, who strolled to the Championship title last season, then travel to Dundee before ending a six-game opening month at New Douglas Park against Martin Canning’s Hamilton.

A trip to Celtic at the end of September is followed by a home match against Kilmarnock and a trip to Tannadice to take on Dundee United.

And Ronny Deila’s champions visit the capital on Boxing Day before the Jambos end the year with another home game against Jackie McNamara’s Dundee United.

Kilmarnock provide the opposition at Rugby Park for the first game of 2016 and prior to the end-of-season split the Hearts play hosts to Aberdeen on April 9.
