Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana have flown to Miami in a bid to recover from their injuries.
The pair missed Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Merseyside rivals Everton at the weekend, but have flown across the pond to ensure they return from injury sooner rather than later.
Henderson is currently out with a foot problem, while Lallana is out of action thanks to a thigh strain picked up on international duty.
The Liverpool captain is expected to miss the Reds upcoming games against Bournemouth and Stoke, while 28-year-old Lallana is expected to be out for another month.
Henderson has missed a large part of the campaign thanks to a heel injury and has previously flown out to America to receive treatment from a specialist.
While the pair’s trip to Miami is not thought to be for similar reasons, the influential duo are keen to freshen up and prepare for Liverpool’s race for a top four finish.
Meanwhile, the Reds will assess the injury Sadio Mane picked up during the game against Everton this week.
The Senegal international was substituted in the second half, falling awkwardly after a challenge by Leighton Baines.
Jurgen Klopp confirmed after the game that Mane was unlikely to be fit for their Tuesday night game with Bournemouth, however, the forward walked unaided out of Anfield following Saturday’s game, raising hopes that the injury was not serious.
