Tony Pulis is reportedly keen to reunited with Hennessey at West Brom having signed him for Palace in January last year, but the Wales goalkeeper insists he is happy at Selhurst Park and focused on claiming the No.1 jersey.
“I’ve had people telling me about interest from West Brom,” said Hennessey. “I’ve got two years left at Palace so I’m happy. I played the last couple of games so hopefully I can start next season.”
Hennessey did admit, however, that he does not want to continue as back-up to Julian Speroni forever.
“My season didn’t start very well,” he added. “I’d have liked to have been playing, but I’ve kept myself right.
“I managed to get the last couple of games so I was chuffed. It’s been difficult because Julian Speroni has been playing.
“I’m still quite young for a goalkeeper and I want to be playing as much as I can. Nobody likes to be sitting on the bench.”
