Ibrahimovic ‘would work’ for LVG at United

Ibrahimovic, who knows Van Gaal from his time at Ajax when the Dutchman had a spell as the club’s technical director, was critical of the United boss in his autobiography and has admitted their relationship is “not good”.

Reports suggest Van Gaal now wants to take Ibrahimovic to Old Trafford and, despite the bad feeling, the Paris Saint-Germain striker insists it is not a move he would rule out.

“He is professional and I am professional,” the 33-year-old told Sport Illustrated. “Whoever I work with, I never had this kind of problems, because at the end I need to do my job, he needs to do his job.

“I think a lot of fights would happen, but that’s something I like.”

Ibrahimovic’s comments come amid reports from France that PSG have had a £46million offer for Angel Di Maria accepted and are expected to complete the signing of the Argentina winger over the weekend.
