Call to action

Explain to me why its ok for the club to set limits on what is pays to players. But has no problem charging the highest ticket prices in Europe??

Our fans are so passive and weak it defies belief. Arsene, Ivan and Stan get away with murder. They are robbing us blind selling us the idea we cant compete at the top end in terms of wages…WTF not!!!!!

Why do our part, pumping more money into the club than other other set of fans pump into their own club!!! So whats this rubbish about not having the money? Where does the money go????

Why do we allow these fools to dictate to us what is the case? Why do the three blind mice go unchallenged? Last season – the 70th minute walk out. Instead we had a bunch of plebs chanting Wenger’s name, as he lead us to a undignified second to Leicester City (hang on, I thought Wenger said he couldnt win due to inferior resources?).

Some Arsenal fans are just lightweights, and have been let down and disappointed so often, that you all resign yourself to losing Ozil and Sanchez.

Cut the S yeah. Heres what needs to happen. Ozil and Sanchez sign on the dotted line. And if not – the fans riot and we stick our heads int he sand and scream Arsene out. If some pundits tries to tell us ‘Arsene is still the man for Arsenal’ – we dont even engage, we just keep rioting and telling them all to F off.

Excuses are gone. How can the blind french fool talk about progress should he repeat a Nasri/Cesc situation – nothing learned.

Steven, you could always get a protest going yourself mate. With social media, it shouldn’t be too difficult to organise. At least try – otherwise you’re as bad as those of us you’re attacking.

Don’t get me wrong, I agree 100% with your sentiments re: the club and what we get in return for the prices we pay, but it’s very easy to sit there behind a computer screen and slag off other fans. It’s a lot harder to actually take some action yourself.

I’ve got a season ticket and have got more and more fed up with what I get for my money. As it goes, this season I couldn’t afford it anyway but I’d decided at the start of last season that it would be my final one for a while.

However, I was on the waiting list for 13 years and only got my ticket when I did because of the move to the Emirates. The only people who would feel the affect of me giving up my ticket altogether is me and the mate I’m letting use it this season – the board wouldn’t give a shit and then regardless of who’s running the club in the future, I’d be unlikely to be able to get another ST in my lifetime.

So for me, the only option was to either give it to a mate until I want it again, or sell all my games via the Ticket Exchange. Giving up the ticket altogether was never an option.

There’s tens of thousands of people waiting for STs and even if all the genuine fans stopped going, the corporations would probably take the rest – they don’t care whether we win the league or what players we keep, they just want to give their clients a nice day out, watching good football in a top stadium.

Again, I don’t disagree with your sentiments about what we get in return for our money but you’re not really in a position to slag off other fans unless you’re doing something about it yourself – are you???

Fabregas could be key

Cesc Fabregas: Resurgence at Chelsea

From what I have seen of Conte he seems more than willing to allow a player who has a good game to remain. Based on that logic I can see him starting with Fabregas and Willian.

Regardless of how well WBA have been playing (and I saw the Burnley game on TV and they looked good but equally Burnley were poor and deserved to be punished on the day), I simply cannot see TP trying to go toe to toe with us. He knows that individually we have better players.

I see him filling the midfield and then using the pace and power of Phillips and Rondon on the break.

Although Fabregas makes us weaker in the midfield (in terms of tackling) it is his range of passing that could bypass a packed midfield and open up the game for us. That is why I would also stick with Willian because although Pedro is much improved this season I still think the work rate and tracking back of Willian is superior and compensates for what Fabregas cannot do.

Being at home, I would like to think that Conte will want to take the game to WBA and set down a marker for our December fixtures. Obviously time will tell because I also have no other inside information regarding injuries…? KTBFFH

Damned if you do…

Michael Carrick: Relaxed about his future
Juventus relied on this one chap who was 35 two years ago and they didn’t do too badly – won the double in their domestic league and also made it to the final of the Champions League.

He may not have been at his highest levels but the manager and the club realized what he brought to the team in terms of passing ability, calmness and bringing the best out of the players around him, such as Pogba.

The stats may not be the full story but they do paint a pretty clear picture nonetheless – Carrick has been used in matches we were expected to win and others were we weren’t and we get the wins, we’ve played the likes of bottom-of-the-table Stoke and poor Burnley at home without him and still didn’t get the results even though they should have been 3 easy points for a team of our level.

Maybe Carrick calms the entire team down and gives players like Pogba and Herrera the peace-of-mind to be a better threat up front as well as re-assures the defense to concede less goals?

Whatever the case may be, for me Carrick needs replacing ASAP however he remains the best player to play alongside Pogba and/or Herrera.

Sympathy for the Devils

Where’s Timothy Fosu-Mensah?

TImothy Fosu-Mensah: Defender penned new deal

It’s no surprise that an 18 yr old ‘kid’ appears raw and “green”,that will only improve with age, games and experience.

It’s very rare than any player of that age is even close to being the finished article, for example at the same age Keano was playing for Cobh Ramblers and Robbo was playing for WBA reserves.

The lad has got so much going for him physically and is no mug technically either and I just can’t see him failing to do really well over the next 2 or 3 years given the right guidance.

Hated clubs

CFC celeb

My hatred has changed over the years too.

Disdain for Arsenal is included in the Spurs supporters pack, but there’s always been a grudging respect for some of their success.

Same for Man Utd and their sense of entitlement, and like most, the dislike was strengthened by “that Mendes goal”.

I’ve always had a particular dislike of Liverpool, and the constant “someone else’s fault” and history lessons that their supporters dish out. Liverpool related attire is also something that grates on me. It’s never subtle and makes supporters look like a scrote to be avoided.

For several years however, my absolute hatred has been for Chelsea. They’re just an odious club. Not because of their dirty money and 13 year history, it’s their attitude and arrogance. There are no redeeming qualities about Chelsea whatsoever.

Keep on marching on

Massimo Cellino: Time at Leeds drawing to a close

Whilst we are contemplating someone allegedly wanting to buy a 50% stake in the Club, the FA has waded in with a hefty fine and long term ban for Massimo Cellino and a hefty fine for the Club as well.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of this it is a very unwanted distraction at a time when, for a change, we are making a positive difference on the pitch. Allied with the fact that if MC does what he says he is going to do and puts in an appeal this thing is going to drag on for ages.

Some are suggesting that this is the end of Cellino and will force him to take the money and sell up. We should be so lucky!

Personally, I am not bothered one way or another if MC stays or goes so long as he carries on as he has this season – sometimes seen but never heard and basically backs away from the day to day stuff – and we keep on the upward curve.

I know it is a contradiction considering that I am writing this message but I am going to try and ignore all this and keep my mind on the team.

Letter to Sepp

Sepp Blatter: One of FIFA officials under investigation

Dear Septic,

I note with some distress your comments concerning how the current incumbent President of FIFA, the organization charged with the control of the beautiful game, has note been paying you the attention you think you deserve, or should that be crave?

All I have to say, as a fan of the beautiful game, is can you please simply crawl back under the rock from where you appeared, like the worm that you are?

You have done nothing but bring disgrace on the game, a game millions of people around the globe love and cherish. Your well documented shady dealings and your feathering of your own nest in both a commercial and egotistical sense, has left me with nothing but contempt for you and an itchy feeling in my palms that my own good doctors say will only be cured by slapping your face numerous times.

As for future commercial activities, may I suggest you contact “Oscar’s Dairies”, offering your services to promote their new, and very tasty, line of cheese products, the perfect accompaniment to the constant whining which still escapes from that hole under your nose.

Please save what little grace you have left and disappear from the game, and planet for that matter, forever.

Best Regards,
