Barcelona officials have reportedly been in secret talks with representatives of Italian striker Andrea Belotti over a summer move.
The 23-year-old has been in outstanding form for his club side Torino this season and that has alerted some of Europe’s top sides.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with the striker, who has a buy-out clause in his current deal with Torino of £86 million.
However, it would appear that Barca have jumped the queue with Spanish portal Don Balon suggesting that intermediaries of the La Liga giant were given the green-light last week to begin negotiations.
It is also claimed via Calciomercato that although Belotti is fully aware of how difficult it will be to earn a starting spot at Barcelona he is prepared to turn down two proposals from Premier League teams in order to move to Spain.
