Joe Hart deal of ‘genuine interest’ to Man Utd boss Mourinho

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho strongly fancies the idea of signing Joe Hart from Manchester City this summer, according to a report.

United will need a new goalkeeper if David de Gea is lured to Real Madrid and Mourinho is said to be a big fan of the England international.

And the Daily Telegraph claim Mourinho would ‘love’ to sign the player from Manchester City and is ‘genuinely interested’ in speaking to them about a deal, though their cross-city rivals are highly unlikely to agree to such a deal.

West Ham are far more likely to be Hart’s next club; he needs to play regular first-team football to retain his place as England’s No. 1 ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The report claims: ‘The deal for Hart would most likely be a season-long loan and it is understood that the England international wants to make the move to West Ham.’
