Alvaro Morata may be set for a move to the Premier League after he dropped a major hint on social media that he is leaving Juventus.
Morata posed for a photo at a restaurant in Turin, with a caption reading “Goodbye friend”.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Arsenal recently, with reports stating the Gunners are willing to pay up to £51million for the Spaniard.
The former Real Madrid man took centre stage on Saturday night when he scored an extra-time winner as Juventus beat AC Milan to retain the Coppa Italia.
Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport claimed last week that Arsenal are negotiating directly with Real Madrid, who have a buy-back option on their former player set at £20million.
Asked about the Premier League in March, Morata said in an interview with Marca: “I like it.
“I like it a lot due to the characteristics of its football and because it’s more attractive for a striker as it’s not as tactical as Italian football.
On England and Germany, he said: “They are countries which might suit my style of play better but I’m happy in Italy. Juve is a top club and I feel right at home.”
