Harry Kane: Says Spurs are flying

Harry Kane says the future at Tottenham “is promising” and it would be “stupid” for any Spurs player to leave the club.

Spurs are in third place in the Premier League , nine points behind leaders Chelsea, after coming from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Manchester City on Saturday.

Kane has been talking to Gazzetta dello Sport about life at the club and the prospect of Chinese Super League interest in their star players.

Dele Alli has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid after his impressive goalscoring start to the season.

“I would be surprised if any of my team-mate were to leave now,” said Kane. “Something’s going on here, we’re just missing the last step: to win trophies.

“It would be stupid to leave now. We have one of the best technicians in the world, perhaps the best. Soon there will be a new stadium. The future is promising.”

League leaders Chelsea have already sold Oscar and John Obi Mikel to Super League clubs and their forward Diego Costa has been linked with a similar move.
