Bruno Martins Indi: On Liverpool radar

Liverpool are reportedly pondering a late swoop for Porto and Netherlands defender Bruno Martins Indi to help stop the goals leaking in.

The Daily Mirror believe Jurgen Klopp is eager to bolster his defensive options after seeing his side nearly throw away a 4-1 advantage against Arsenal in their Premier League opener at the Emirates.

Spanish left-back Alberto Moreno was heavily criticised for his performance in North London, and Indi would be able to cover in the full-back slot as well as line up in the heart of the Liverpool defence.

Indi currently has two years remaining on his Porto contract after joining from Feyenoord in 2014 for £6.5m. He has 31 caps with Holland to his name and was part of the Dutch side that finished third in the 2014 World Cup.
