Jurgen Klopp is unsure what the immediate future holds for Liverpool starlet Sheyi Ojo – but admits he could send the teenager back out on loan.
Ojo emerged as one of the Reds’ brightest talents in the latter half of last season, making 11 appearances and scoring his first goal for the club.
The 19-year-old winger has also impressed in pre-season, having enjoyed Championship loan spells with Wigan and Wolves over the past two campaigns.
But Klopp while Klopp insists Ojo’s long-term future is at Anfield, he is debating as to whether another loan move could benefit his development.
“I don’t know. We will have to see,” said Klopp when asked on the England youth international’s future.
“Sheyi is a wonderful player that’s for sure and his future is 100% at Liverpool. We don’t have to make decisions so early.
“We have time and we have to use the time. We have had some injuries. We need to make the boys as fit as possible.
“Ojo has only been with us for five days after coming from the tournament with England Under-19s.”
