Timm Klose has vowed to prove himself a Premier League star after Norwich completed a £7.7million deal to sign the defender from Wolfsburg.
The Canaries’ busy transfer window continues after they made the centre-half their fourth January signing.
The Switzerland centre-back has agreed a three-and-half-year deal, subject to governing body approval.
Matt Jarvis, Ivo Pinto and Ben Godfrey have already moved to Carrow Road this month as manager Alex Neil continues to bolster his squad.
“Norwich City are delighted to make their fourth signing of the January transfer window, completing a deal for Switzerland international defender Timm Klose from VfL Wolfsburg subject to governing body approval,” said a Canaries statement.
City boss Alex Neil was delighted to welcome Klose to the club and commented: “As a player, he’s got good technical ability and he’s solid in the air.”
Centre-back Klose featured for Wolfsburg in the 3-2 Champions League victory over Manchester United in December, and also played for Switzerland in their Euro 2016 qualifiers against England.
“It was always a dream to play in the Premier League and Norwich have given me a big chance,” the player said.
“Now I want to give everything I can to be a good player in this league.”
