Vincent Kompany and David Silva were the notable absentees as Manchester City underwent their final training session on Tuesday before they flew out to Italy to face Juventus.
Cityv face Juventus in Wednesday night’s Champions League Group D clash and Manuel Pellegrini looks like being without central defender and skipper Kompany and playmaker Silva.
Kompany missed the 4-1 thrashing at home to Liverpool on Saturday with a recurrence of a calf problem, while Silva is still struggling with an ankle injury which has sidelined him for the last seven games.
Striker Sergio Aguero did train after returning, and scoring, against Liverpool following a seven-game absence with a hamstring problem.
City, who have already qualified for the Champions League knockout stages, will fly out to Turin on Tuesday afternoon before Pellegrini addresses the media this evening.
Juventus could also be without three key players for the game.
Sami Khedira and Hernanes are definitely out, while Patrice Evra is a doubt after hobbling off during the Serie A win over AC Milan at the weekend.
