Lancashire set for Town return

The 21-year-old is fit again after spending last week back at parent club Southampton for treatment on a slight hamstring tear he sustained at Shrewsbury 15 days ago.

Lancashire is likely to come straight back into the team alongside Rob Atkinson, with Paul Linwood the probable casualty.

However, manager Neil Woods could repeat his set-up against the Shrews with Peter Bore in a more advanced role and Linwood in at right-back.

Nathan Jarman’s return from the bench at the New Meadow after a broken bone in his foot is another boost for Woods, who has further options with defender Joe Widdowson (foot) back in training and new signing Mark Hudson (hamstring) also on the mend.
