Pontus Jansson: Celebrates narrow Leeds win

Leeds United missed the chance to move level with sixth placed Derby County as they drew 1-1 with Aston Villa at Elland Road.

Pontus Jansson scored the opening goal for the visitors inside the opening 20 minutes with a close range header from a corner.

Henri Lansbury came off the bench and equalised for the visitors in the second half in his return to first team action.

The result leaves Villa fourth in the table, seven points from second placed Cardiff, while Leeds could drop to ninth based on Saturday’s results.
