Argentina international and Chelsea target Ezequiel Lavezzi could be set to join the growing exodus to China, according to reports.
The 30-year-old Paris Saint-Germain attacker only has five months of his current contract remaining and ESPN report he will snub a move to Stamford Bridge and join Chinese Super League side Guoan Beijing.
The capital club are managed by Italian Alberto Zaccheroni and boast players such as Brazilian midfielder Renato Augusto.
China are making waves in the transfer market with Ramires (£25m), Jackson Martinez (£31.50m) and Alex Teixeira (£37.7m) all signing for Super League clubs in the last week.
PSG claimed that they did not want to sell Lavezzi in January, but they might not be able to refuse the money from China with the player’s contract close to expiring.
Guoan are willing to offer €6million for the player, who has made 16 Ligue One appearances this season.
L’Equipe claim that Shanghai Shenhua are also interested in signing Lavezzi.
