Leeds eyeing Man Utd youngster as Taylor replacement

Leeds United are reportedly plotting a swoop for Manchester United starlet Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.

The Championship outfit are in the hunt for a new left-back after Charlie Taylor completed his switch to Premier League Burnley on Thursday.

Borthwick-Jackson, who spent last season loan in the Championship with Wolves, has been identified as the man to fill the void and the Daily Mail reports that he is wanted on a permanent deal rather than a loan.

The 20-year-old was named United’s Under-21s Player of the Year in 2016, bagging a long-term contract until 2020 soon after.

However, it is reported that Borthwick-Jackson, who has made 14 appearances for United’s first team since making his debut in 2015, wants regular football and would be willing to quit Old Trafford.
