Scott Wootton and Mirco Antenucci have been told they are free to leave Leeds – and are two of eight players shown the door at Elland Road – as the club announced its retained list.
Also heading for pastures new alongside the two senior players are young keeper Eric Grimes, strikers Lewis Walters and Robbie McDaid, defenders Ross Killock and Jake Skelton and attacking midfielder Tom Lynam.
Meanwhile, the club have confirmed that new deals have been offered to five young professionals and three scholars.
Highly-rated goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell, alongside forward Frank Mulhern, forward Eoghan Stokes, full-back Tyler Denton and midfielder Alex Purver have been offered fresh terms.
First professional contracts have also been offered to three second-year scholars – defender Jack Vann, utility player Tom Pearce and Michael Taylor, with Ronaldo Vieira having already agreed professional terms with the club.
Tom Adeyemi, Liam Bridcutt and Mustapha Carayol have returned to their parent clubs following loan spells at Elland Road, though the Whites hope to secure a permanent deal for Sunderland loanee Bridcutt after he impressed during his time at Elland Road.
