Chris Wood: Leeds have reportedly valued him at £15million

In-form Leeds United striker Chris Wood has been linked with a sensational move to Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian.

Sources close to the player have told ESPN that the New Zealand international is next on their wishlist after so far missing out on Monaco’s Radamel Falcao, PSG’s Edinson Cavani, Benfica’s Raul Jimenez, Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema – and Chelsea’s Diego Costa who is “very happy” with the Premier League leaders.

Leeds have reportedly slapped a £15millon price tag on their star striker with Swansea City and Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg also said to be closely monitoring the situation.

Wood has scored 17 times in 29 appearances this season, and his form has helped Leeds climb to as high as third in the Championship table.

Wood still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his current contract at Elland Road.
