Leeds have made an offer to on-trial goalkeeper Kamil Miazek, according to academy scout Jakub Bokiej.

Miazek, who had been on trial at Barnsley, has been on trial with Leeds since the end of last month and the club have decided the 21-year-old is worth a contract.

“Kamil Miazek (21 years old, goalkeeper) has received an offer of the contract from Leeds United,” Bokiej tweeted.

The youngster was previously in Feyenoord’s academy but moved to Polish second-tier team Chojniczanka last summer.

Miazek, who is currently available on a free transfer, will likely go into the Under-23 squad and provide back-up to Felix Wiedwald  and Andy Lonergan if he signs up.
