Manchester United legend Roy Keane has admitted that he is not a fan of Jose Mourinho and the job that he has done at the club so far.
United claimed their second piece of silverware of the season after beating Southampton 3-2 in the EFL Cup final on Sunday, but that hasn’t stopped Keane putting the boot into the Portuguese.
Despite that cup win, and a fine run of form of late, the former United captain is still not best pleased with the how things are going at Old Trafford under the former Chelsea and Real Madrid supremo.
Keane said in the Daily Mail: “I’ve very little time for Mourinho.
“I look at United and the run they’re on now. They’re sixth in the league. People are like, ‘I can see progress’ – [but] they’re sixth in the league. They’ve beaten no one in three months.
“I judge United on the big games. Chelsea and one or two others are coming up now. If you want to play for United and be successful they are the games you have to be winning.”
Next up for United, who are currently two points behind fourth-placed Arsenal, is the visit of Bournemouth on Saturday as they look to maintain the pressure on the teams in the Champions League spots.
