TEAMtalk understands Newcastle United are looking to tie up quick deals for Ligue 1 starlets Nicolas Pepe and Yann Kamorah.

The duo have been highlighted by Newcastle’s chief scout Graham Carr and Rafa Benitez is happy for them to come in, as he knows they are two top prospects.

Winger Pepe is 21, and already an Ivory Coast international, but he would not need a work permit as he is French born. He is currently with Angers in Ligue 1, who he helped finish a respectable 12th.

Kamorah, who is Ivorian by birth but plays for France, is considered one of the top striking prospects in the French top flight.

The 18-year-old scored five goals in 25 starts in his first full season, and much of that saw him pushed out wide, but he produced a series of fine displays.

Newcastle are facing major competition to land both players, but sources have confirmed to TEAMtalk that both players look to be on their way to Tyneside.
