Brad Smith: Completes Bournemouth move

Bournemouth are set to raid Liverpool for a second time this summer after striking an eyebrow-raising £6million deal for reserve left-back Brad Smith.

The nine-times capped Australian international has made just five Premier League appearances for Liverpool, including three starts, and was sent off in a game against Swansea at the end of last season.

The Liverpool Echo understand that the sale of Smith will include both a sell-on and buy-back clauses .

The Cherries have already paid Liverpool £15million for Jordon Ibe this summer.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is understood to be in the market for a left-back to challenge Alberto Moreno this summer and has been linked with moves for Jonas Hector, Ben Chilwell and Charlie Taylor amongst others.
