Abdoulaye Doucoure has confirmed that Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham have all expressed a wish in signing him this summer.
Doucoure has been in fine form for Watford this season – but is only recently beginning to get the plaudits his form deserves.
The midfielder has scored seven goals and assisted three in the Premier League for Watford this season, and has earned rave reviews with his performances.
Tottenham have been most heavily linked with a move, but Arsenal and Liverpool have also been mentioned in passing.
And when asked whether the speculation was true, the 25-year-old did little to dispel it.
“It’s true that these clubs are interested,” he told Telefoot when asked whether he was being monitored by Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham.
“But I’m at Watford for the moment and I want to finish my season well.”
Doucoure was then put to the test in a quickfire Q&A session, and was asked whether he would join Arsenal or Tottenham if given the choice.
“Arsenal because of Arsene Wenger,” he replied.
