Liverpool, Arsenal target set to agree €50m buyout

Reported Liverpool and Arsenal target Andrea Belotti is set to sign a new deal at Torino.

Belotti, 22, was linked with a both to both Liverpool and Arsenal on Sunday with CalcioMercato claiming the Reds would fork out £20million to beat Arsenal to the signing of the talented striker.

The player’s agent, Sergio Lancini, has been talking to the Serie A club representatives for weeks in a bid to secure a new deal with the and despite reported interest from the Premier League Belotti is poised to extend his stay in Turin.

CalcioMercato report that negotiations are to be coming to a conclusion and the striker looks set to pledge his future to the club and sign a new deal until 2021 earning around €800,000 a season.

Torino will also insert a buy-out clause in the new agreement of €50million.

The former Palermo striker has been in fine form so far this season, racking up five goals and two assists in six Serie A games.

Tuttosport claimed West Ham had a €30million offer turned down for Belotti before they signed Simone Zaza in the summer.

Belotti, who was a £7million signing last summer, was called into the Italy squad and found the net in the recent 3-1 World Cup qualifying win against Macedonia.
