Liverpool boss Klopp finds unlikely ally in Sky pundit Neville
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has an unlikely ally in Gary Neville after the pundit took to Twitter to defend the team that lost to Wolves.
The German made nine changes from the side that was knocked out of the League Cup in midweek and was punished with a humiliating exit in the FA Cup fourth round to add to their January blues.
Klopp was heavily criticised from all corners for making such widespread changes but Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville believes he made the right choice.
Lots won’t like this but Weakened teams usually means young players getting a chance to shine. It’s the right thing for the FA cup..

Neville then followed up with another tweet to say that the FA Cup has always had a role to play in the development of younger players and recalls how he was able to break through into the Manchester United first team.
It’s how I was given the chance to be a player . Getting a run out in cup games!!

Klopp, meanwhile, took full responsibility for the Reds’ latest defeat but was unsure as to where to Wolves defeat ranks among his low points during his time as Liverpool manager.
