Ryan Sessegnon: In demand

Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon is expected to spark a huge Premier League bidding war at the end of the season, according to a report.

The defender scored three times for the Championship side during their 5-4 win at Sheffield United on Tuesday night, becoming the first 17-year-old to score a hat-trick in one of England’s top four tiers since Dele Alli.

Sessegnon is attracting interest from a number of high-profile clubs having impressed last season under Slavisa Jokanovic at Craven Cottage.

The teenager has been scouted by Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, and signed his first professional contract with Fulham back in June.

According to the Daily Mail however, this new deal will not put off potential suitors, as his new deal includes no minimum buy-out clause.

As a result, Fulham can command a substantial fee for their prized young asset, with the report claiming that the Lilywhites are likely to demand a fee in the region of £30million.

In addition, any potential departure hinges on Fulham not gaining promotion to the Premier League. With the club in 14th after 18 games though, their hopes are fading fast.
