Jurgen Klopp: Liverpool a big draw for TV companies

Liverpool will be shown four times by Sky Sports and BT Sport in January, with Arsenal the next most popular pick with three televised fixtures.

The arrival of Jurgen Klopp at Anfield has certainly caught the attention of the television broadcasters, with Liverpool’s trips to West Ham and Norwich City both set to be shown by BT Sport, while their home games against Arsenal and Manchester United will be screened live on Sky Sports.

The Gunners will be shown a further two times, at Stoke City and at home to Chelsea, who have had two games picked for coverage – the same as Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United, Swansea City, Tottenham, Watford and West Ham.

The only clubs not shown at all are Bournemouth, Southampton and West Brom.

Sat 16: Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland (12.45pm, BT Sport)

Sat 16: Aston Villa v Leicester City (5.30pm, Sky Sports)

Sun 17: Liverpool v Manchester United (2.05pm, Sky Sports)

Sun 17: Stoke City v Arsenal (4.15pm, Sky Sports)

Mon 18: Swansea City v Watford (8pm*, Sky Sports)

Sat 23: Norwich City v Liverpool (12.45pm, BT Sport)

Sat 23: West Ham United v Manchester City (5.30pm, Sky Sports)

Sun 24: Everton v Swansea City (1.30pm, Sky Sports)

Sun 24: Arsenal v Chelsea (4pm, Sky Sports)

*This fixture will move to 12 noon Sunday, January 17 if either team is involved in an FA Cup replay.

    Really looking forward to it. Even before the turn of the New Year, 8 of our 10 games are televised.

    Quite a few Sunday ones with a 4pm kick off too 🙂

    Hopefully now Klopp is there and starting to get his ideas over we will see some exciting games with pool, unlike the last wee while under BR

    SensibleS7 – I can see 6 definite televised games, the Sunday ones vs Swansea and West Brom aren’t televised they are just Sunday games due to Europa league, and the Southampton Quarter final will be but not sure about the Sunderland one on 30th

    Pax, I stand corrected! Whats with the self righteous attitude from the same people? Everyone makes mistakes.

    The fact of the matter is that we are heavily on tv – you should be pleased – some fans cant enjoy the sport properly or let others enjoy but just pick oles just for the sake of it.
