Liverpool sensation to be handed lucrative new contract

Liverpool are reportedly ready to offer England Under-17 sensation Rhian Brewster a lucrative new contract when he turns 18 next year.

The 17-year-old, whose goalscoring exploits for England at the Under-17 World Cup have caught the nation’s attention, is yet to sign professional terms at Anfield.

That news has alerted several of England’s elite clubs to try and prise the player from Anfield , but a big-money deal will be on the table for the former Chelsea youngster in April next year, according to the report in the Daily Mail.

Liverpool are confident that Brewster, who is said to be happy and settled at the club, will follow in the footsteps of fellow teenage star Ben Woodburn and commit his future to the Merseyside outfit.

Brewster has scored back-to-back hat-tricks in India to steer England’s youngsters to the final, where they will play Spain in the final on Saturday.
