Liverpool are interested in signing Bayern Munich star Mario Gotze and are also tracking Anderlecht midfielder Dennis Praet, according to reports on Friday.
German publication Bild claim Jurgen Klopp wants a reunion with the 23-year-old, who played under him at Borussia Dortmund.
Gotze, who is rated at €50million, has been out since October with a groin injury but is expected to return to action within the next few weeks.
He joined Bayern to link up with Pep Guardiola in 2013, but things haven’t run smoothly for the World Cup winner.
The Reds, meanwhile, are reportedly set to challenge Fiorentina for Anderlecht midfielder Praet.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims Fiorentina made contact with the Belgian club over a potential move for Praet but were put off by the player’s €30million price tag.
Liverpool would have no issue meeting that valuation and could end up sealing the 21-year-old’s signature.
