Liverpool will have to fork out as much as £12million to land Scotland and Hull full-back Andrew Robertson, according to reports.
The Reds look to be on the hunt for a new full-back at the moment and have recently have linked with the likes of Leicester’s Ben Chilwell and Atletico Mineiro’s Douglas Santos.
However the Merseyside club seem to have turned their attention away once again to a new target after reportedly being priced out of a move for Chilwell and after being faced with stiff competition from Arsenal for the signature of Santos.
According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool have now set their sights on highly-rated Hull defender Robertson.
The report claims that Liverpool will have to pay £12million to lure the 22-year-old Scotland international away from the KC Stadium.
Robertson signed for Hull from Dundee United for a reported fee of £3million two years ago and has since made himself one of the most highly-rated young players in Britain.
Hull boss Bruce is even said to be already eyeing a replacement for Robertson by re-signing Republic Of Ireland hero Robbie Brady.
The 24-year-old left the KC Stadium for Norwich last year after Hull dropped out of the Premier League. Brady has also said he would be keen on staying in England’s top flight after Norwich were dumped into Championship at the end of last season.
However the Tigers are said to face stiff competition for the Republic of Ireland hero as Leicester, West Brom and Sunderland are all said to be keen on acquiring the player’s services.
