Liverpool target would jump at Napoli move, says agent
Reported Liverpool target Mattia De Sciglio would find it hard to turn down a move to Napoli, according to the player’s agent.
The 23-year-old full-back, who was linked with a move to Anfield yesterday, is on the radar of the Naples club and there has been contact between the two.
And De Sciglio’s agent, Donato Orgnoni, has admitted his client could join the Serie A side.
“At the moment there’s no transfer news because we’re focused on the Euros,” Orgnoni told Italian station Radio Crc.
“Of course, we’ve had a look at the transfer market, we’re waiting to see what Milan want to do because we haven’t yet spoken to them.
“Yes, among the clubs we’ve talked to there’s Napoli.
“The Azzurri are definitely a great club and it’s a great environment, it would not be possible to say no.”
Left-sided De Sciglio made 21 appearances as AC Milan finished seventh in Serie A last term and he is with Antonio Conte’s Euro 2016 squad, making his first appearance of the tournament as a sub in the Azzurri’s 2-0 group stage win over Belgium. He also played in the 2-0 victory over reigning European champions Spain on Monday afternoon.
