Emre Mor’s agent has hinted the Liverpool target is heading for Fenerbahce on loan.
The 19-year-old Turkey international has been linked with Liverpool, Southampton and Deportivo La Coruna, but the winger looks set for a return to his homeland, at least on a temporary basis.
Mor has become disillusioned with life at Borussia Dortmund after a lack of game time. He only signed for the Bundesliga club from Nordsjaelland for £8million last summer, but he has failed to make an impact and made just five Bundesliga starts last season.
It now appears that Fenerbahce are closing in on a loan deal for Mor after comments from his agent Muzzi Ozcan.
“There is a transfer update,” Ozcan told Radyospor. “I will arrive in Istanbul with Emre tonight, we are coming together but that is all I can say right now.
“I will go into more details later.”
Fener are looking for a replacement for winger Volkan Sen, whose contract was recently terminated and Ozcan has reportedly been spotted at the club’s Istanbul headquarters.
Dortmund are understood to be ready to give the player the green light to develop away from the Bundesliga club.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had the player on his radar last summer, but Mor moved to Dortmund before he was a shock call-up in Fatih Terim’s Turkey squad for Euro 2016..
