Romelu Lukaku admits recent months have been “difficult” at Everton and has revealed he has decided on his future.
Despite Lukaku’s goals, Everton’s season has been undermined by an inability to defend, which led to the dismissal of manager Roberto Martinez earlier this month.
The striker has been linked with a host of clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, PSG and Real Madrid, while in March he admitted he wants to play in the Champions League next season.
And Lukaku has told Belgian media, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo, he has made his mind up on where his futures lays.
“In my head, I have already made a decision, we’ll see,” he said.
When asked about a possible return to Chelsea, he replied: “It’s true that the English competition suits me perfectly, but there are plenty of other beautiful clubs.”
The 23-year-old is currently away on international duty with Belgium ahead of Euro 2016, although his form is under scrutiny having failed to score in his last 10 matches.
“In all competitions, I scored 25 times,” he said.
“In recent weeks, Everton were difficult, as a forward it also depends on the performance of my teammates , but I still continued to work hard . I’m mentally quite ready to start this Euro.”
