Major Liverpool, Spurs midfield target discusses chances of £20m move
Norwich star James Maddison has discussed his Premier League ambitions as Liverpool and Tottenham continue to be linked with the midfielder.
The 21-year-old, who began his career at Coventry, has been outstanding for the Canaries this season – leading to speculation that he could be the subject of big-money bids from the Reds and Spurs this summer.
And the England Under-21 star Sky Sports: “My ambition is to play in the Premier League, like every player. But I’m at the stage of my career now where I’m happy to be playing games.
“It’s about showing the world what I can do at this level at the moment, and hopefully I can play at the top of the game whenever I get there.”
Southampton are also said to be showing an interest in the player, who spent time on loan at Aberdeen last season, while the Canaries are likely to demand a fee of around £20million for one of the Championship’s most talented young midfielders.
