Manchester City are preparing a January bid to bring a two-time Champions League winner to the Etihad Stadium, a report claims.

Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim that Costa Rica international Keylor Navas is set to depart the Santiago Bernabeu, with Real intent on signing a top goalkeeper.

Premier League duo Thibaut Courtois and David De Gea have been linked with a move to the LaLiga champions, but recent reports have suggested a deal for Athletic Bilbao ‘keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is close.

Man City are in the market for a new shot-stopper to replace back-up man Claudio Bravo, who struggled last season after his arrival from Barcelona.

This forced the Sky Blues to splash £35million on Ederson, making him the most expensive goalkeeper of all time and their new number one.

With little chance of Ederson being displaced following a great start to life in Manchester, there are questions whether Navas would be content as a back-up, especially with PSG also reportedly interested.
