Manchester City look set to reward Raheem Sterling for a brilliant start to the season with a new contract.

The England star initially struggled under Pep Guardiola, but has come alive this season notching eight goals already.

Sterling is only half-way through the initial contract he signed after joining from Liverpool in 2015, but The Sun claim he will be offered a fresh 5-year deal that will bump his wages up to £200,000 per week.

The report states that, once City CEO Ferran Soriano and Sporting Director Tixiki Begiristain secure new deals for midfield linchpins Kevin de Bruyne and David Silva, they’ll look at tying down Sterling’s future with the club.
