Bordeaux winger Malcom has revealed that the Ligue 1 side have “promised” that he can leave in the summer.
The Brazilian has been in brilliant form for the French outfit, scoring eight goals and providing his team-mates with six assists in the league this season.
Those performances have reportedly attracted the attention of Premier League sides Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham with the 20-year-old reportedly close to joining the Gunners in January.
And this week Malcom revealed his current employers have agreed to let him go in the summer, he said: “Bordeaux have promised I can leave in June and I will choose the destination.”
When asked about a potential move to the Premier League in January, Malcom revealed his “dream” to play in the English top tier.
He said: “I don’t know [if a transfer will happen]. If I do leave, that would be fine.
“I will be grateful to Bordeaux, that’s life.
“If I have to stay I will, and I will do my job. It is true that England is a dream for every player.”
