Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has categorically denied he has met with Manchester United to finalise a world-record move from Juventus.
The 23-year-old French midfielder has been at the centre of intense transfer speculation, with the latest hint toward a potential return to Old Trafford being the fact that the Red Devils have delayed the announcement of their squad numbers for the upcoming season as they try to land their main transfer target.
News also emerged over the weekend that representatives from both clubs and player had met to push through what is expected to be a world-record deal, but agent Raiola – who is a prominent figure in our latest transfer window feature – has dismissed these reports in emphatic style.
“All of what you read is bull****,” he exclusively told Goal. “That’s all there is.”
Real Madrid have been suggested as the other clear contenders, but appear unlikely to sign him following Zinedine Zidane’s latest comments that he would find it hard now to improve his squad.
