Premier League leaders Manchester City are reportedly preparing a bid for a Serie A star who is also attracting interest from Manchester United.
Lazio man Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been attracting interest from a range of clubs following an impressive spell with Lazio.
The 22-year-old is believed to be a target for Serie A champions Juventus as well as the Manchester duo, but it is City who are poised to make a January bid according to Calciomercato.com.
Milinkovic-Savic has racked up a combined six goals and assists from midfield in all competitions this season.
Previous reports have suggested that Lazio president Claudio Lotito would only be willing to listen to offers of €80million.
Meanwhile, his agent Mateja Kezman, the former Chelsea and PSV player, revealed that his client is happy with his current club in an interview last month.
“Sergej is very happy at Lazio and has recently renewed his contract. Lazio is a nice team, there is the right atmosphere, a winning mindset,” Kezman stated.
“Sergej is special, he’s a combination of strength, speed, and technique. It’s difficult to make a comparison, he’s a top talent and what he needed was a club like Lazio and a coach like Inzaghi doing the best for him. Sergej is very happy to have him as a manager.”
