Malcom in the middle as Prem trio battle for attacker

Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all monitoring Bordeaux attacker Malcom, according to reports.

United apparently scouted the 20-year-old over the weekend in Bordeaux’s 1-1 draw with Marseille, according to La Provence via Sport Witness.

Malcom played on the right wing, but he is capable of playing all across the frontline and he has scored five goals and grabbed five assists in 15 games this season.

United have been tracking the Brazil Under-23 star for a while, but not his talent has been spotted by Chelsea and Arsenal, with Mercato365 reporting the two London clubs are now watching his progress.

Arsene Wenger may well have to replace Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez as soon as January and Malcom, who is under contract until 2021, may well fit the bill.

Meanwhile, Antonio Conte may well have to find a replacement for Willian with the Brazilian continually linked with a move to China.
