Man Utd, Man City target refuses to commit to Espanyol

Manchester United, Manchester City and Napoli target Aaron Martin has refused to commit himself to Espanyol.

Martin’s impressive performances over the last two seasons has meant scouts from all over Europe have been tracking the 20-year-old.

He has started all  27 matches in La Liga this season and Real Madrid were reportedly tracking Martin last season.

Now Man City and Man Utd are watching the player, who The Sun reported had a £26million release clause in his contract last season, which has risen to £35million this term.

Napoli are also lining up a potential summer move for Martin, who is under contract until 2022, and Martin is open to a move.

“I do not know what will happen in summer, but now I’m happy here,” Martin told Marca.

“I don’t concern myself with what is being said in the media as I am happy at Espanyol, I don’t know the future but nobody does.

“The team are playing well currently and have a good dynamic, we have not lost in seven games and are approaching every game with positivity.”
