Man Utd ready huge De Gea deal as Real Madrid switch focus

Manchester United will make David De Gea a huge offer to keep him from a move to Real Madrid, a report claims.

The Spaniard has been repeatedly linked with a switch to the Bernabeu, with widespread reports claiming that Real president Florentino Perez is looking for a new number one.

Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois has also been tipped for a move to the LaLiga giants, and the Belgian recently admitted that he would definitely consider a switch to back to the Spanish capital.

The Daily Star now claim that he will be their first choice, as De Gea is about to be offered £350,000-a-week to stay at Old Trafford.

De Gea currently has 18 months left on his deal, meaning United have reached a crossroads: they either sell, try to extend him or risk letting him walk away for nothing.

But their first choice will be to keep the Spain No 1, so it’s little surprise to see claims being made that a huge new deal is in the pipeline.
