Manchester United are considering a January move for Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, according to reports.
Lindelof has caught the eye of a number of teams with his performances for the Portuguese outfit, with Chelsea, Juventus, Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain all previously linked with the Sweden international.
According to Portuguese outlet A Bola, United have now entered the race to sign the 22-year-old, who can operate at centre-back or right-back.
Lindelof is understood to be in contract talks with Benfica, with his current deal containing a £26million release clause.
United boss Jose Mourinho is keen to bolster his defence in Januay, with Matteo Darmian expected to depart and question marks over the futures of Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw, following public criticism by the manager.
